Client Challenge – Integrate multiple systems with PolicyCenter to create a global Underwriting Hub.
For one of the world’s leading Reinsurers, ACINI was selected to partner on a major digital transformation to replace legacy systems with a fully integrated PolicyCenter, Many integrations were required to create a central Underwriting Hub for risk assessment and policy management globally. The project had previously experienced significant delays before ACINI was able to drive the project to a successful completion.
Acini’s Solution – Strategic support and close cooperation with the customer to complete development and go-live
Acini provided senior-level architecture and developer expertise in PolicyCenter with a focus on architecture, business analysis, and solution design.
Key contributions included:
- Implemented REST Full API integrations, both asynchronous and synchronous, taking into account the need for high performance
- Generated policy documents and integrated with Document Management applications
- Developed integration with data lake to ensure full policy life cycle was captured
- Upgraded on-premises PolicyCenter from version 10.1 to 10.2.3 with path toward subsequent Cloud migration
- Developed rollout strategy and imported Users, Groups, and Roles, across all global locations, for easy maintenance and support
Thanks to our support, the go-live was a complete success, and the application continues to be enhanced in production.
