Migrate legacy product to Guidewire Suite and create accelerator for product changes and new business.
The insurer operates in 6 countries and with each having own legacy systems and different products from personal to commercial lines. The challenge was to migrate the entire business to the Guidewire Suite and to sunset all existing platforms. The migration also enabled product changes to current market demands and country specific needs. Additionally, the migration accelerator was built in such a way to enable new business changes post-migration to accelerate time to market and reduce cost of changes.

- Acini helped adjust product implementation and configuration processes in PolicyCenter to able to configure Virtual Products based on Schemes. Guidewire Go Products components such as product designer, Jutro templates, and Advanced Product Designer customized to be more user friendly and efficient, so the business team representatives are able to implement simple but desired Virtual Products fast and go live without delays.
Key contributions included:
- Reduced product development process by maximizing the Guidewire Virtual Product Ecosystem including using Schemes configuration.
- Simplified common configuration functionalities and let the business team manage the administration tools.
- Designed the Virtual Products configuration in a way to be flexible enough to cover business requirements and isolate necessary testing.
